Dr. Mark Turner, DC, BA, BS

As a former professional football player, Dr. Turner has personally experienced many levels of injuries and understands what it takes to get back in the game, and what is required to make it to the top level in sports. He faced adversity and injury during his playing career and which led him to direct his passion to sports rehabilitation.

Dr. Turner graduated Cum Laude from National University of Health Sciences with his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. From there he started Turner Pain and Wellness in 1994 to treat and empower athletes who had been injured. During 20 years of treating patients and serving as a strength and conditioning consultant for various professional athletes, organizations, Olympic competitors and teams he is able to test and treat athletes to reach and remain at the pinnacle of their success. He leads his organizations with compassion and a strong commitment to keep athletes in the field of play.

Dr. Turner’s passion for rehabilitation and injury prevention are unparalleled and contagious. Because of his experiences, he is able to relate to all ages and levels of athletics.

Daniel L. Hansen, P.T., C.O.M.T.

As a US Navy Veteran, Dan has studied, trained, and worked across the United States. Dan has also enjoyed competing in baseball, football, gymnastics and wrestling. Now, as a proud father of three, Dan still goes above and beyond the call of duty.

Dan began his training in the U.S. Navy at the University of Health Sciences where he graduated Valedictorian and worked in several military hospitals, including the Naval Medical Center – San Diego. Upon completing four years of service in the U.S. Navy, he returned to his home state and attended Chicago Medical School where he gained his BS in Physical Therapy.

Dan has continued to attend courses to expand his knowledge and improve his skills beyond the state requirements. He has studied a variety of therapeutic techniques and philosophies including Certification as Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) through the Ola Grimsby Institute, Certified Ergonomic Specialist through Atlanta Back School, Integrative Manual Therapy, and Mulligan mobilization.

His educational goals and thirst for knowledge has not and will not stop. He desires to complete his Doctoral Degree in Manual Therapy through Ola Grimsby as soon as possible.

Dr. Brady McDaniel, D.C

Dr. Brady has always been a competitive athlete, whether it is competing in wrestling, or currently in swimming, triathlons, or marathons. As an athlete he understands the injuries that can be associated with all of these sports. His goal is to assist athletes of various skill sets to be able to return to their sport at the same level of competitiveness at which they left. Dr. Brady also supports his brother in the military and keeps him in fighting condition. One of the best ways he can achieve this is by keeping up to date on the latest therapies so that each patient receives top quality care.

Dr. Brady enjoys staying active with the community through s wide variety of involvement. He is active in the Alzheimer’s Association, volunteers each year in the Bravo Classic Gymnastics Meet and continues to stay involved with the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association. He also spends time fund Raising for non-profit groups via the Chicago Marathon.

Josh Gray PTA, CSCS

  • Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist

Josh played Division II baseball and grew up playing competitive baseball, basketball, and soccer. He loves working with athletes in overhead and rotational sports especially baseball, softball, golf and tennis. He also enjoys concussion and vestibular rehabilitation.

One of Josh’s specialties is implementing various kettlebell movements and skills to make the athletes more resilient to injury, more explosive and powerful, all
with the fundamental mobility and strength needed to excel in their given sport.

Josh utilizes Functional Manual Therapy from the Institute of Physical Art which is an integration of manual soft tissue and joint mobilization with PNF techniques to retrain core control and joint centration. He also uses manual Mulligan mobilizations. Josh believes the manual therapist is able to provide a unique hands-on and one-on-one approach with patients that can facilitate each individual’s greatest potential for success in physical therapy.

Josh enjoys and tries to participate in as many sports medicine coverage opportunities of a variety of sports, including football, wrestling, and lacrosse.

Dr. Brandon Polaskey, D.C.

As a former competitive athlete, Dr. Brandon is well versed in the types of injuries that occur with athletes. His goal is to work together with the patient to not only recover, but perform better at your sport or activity than you did before. Dr. Brandon will help you jump-start your progress and; ultimately, provide the strategies that will empower you to take responsibility for your recovery of function, which will get you back on your way to pain-free living.

During his time in Chiropractic school, Dr. Brandon attended over 250 hours of continuing education through numerous seminars. He is also certified in Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Manipulation. Dr. Brandon is working towards becoming certified in the McKenzie Protocol of the Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar Spine, and completing the American Chiropractic Rehab Board Diplomate (DACRB).

Dr. Brandon stays involved in the community through multiple activities. He has volunteered at many Special Olympics events, and has coached both youth soccer and basketball. He is also an active member of the Illinois Chiropractic Society as well as the American Chiropractic Association.
