Turner Pain & Wellness Center

Welcome to Turner Pain & Wellness Center! We would like to extend a warm thank you for selecting us for your therapy needs. We use a team strategy with each member of our professional staff providing you with their expert experience and the best possible care.

Your sessions will be more frequent at first, and will lessen as you improve. Our goal is to have you reach a normal state of active living before we release you from care.

If you have any questions before, during or after your treatment, feel free to ask. You will find our office and staff professional and welcoming. We will always provide the best in sports rehab to return you to the playing field better than you left. On behalf of our team, Dr. Brady McDaniel, Daniel Hansen and our support staff, we would like to personally thank you for choosing us for your therapy needs.

We look forward to guiding you on your path to wellness.

When is Therapy needed?

Physical therapy (PT) may be needed any time you have difficulty moving in such a way that it limits daily activities. The following list contains some of the most common reasons to see a physical therapist / chiropractor:

  • Back conditions
  • Knee problems
  • Shoulder/arm conditions
  • Neck conditions
  • Sprains and muscle strains
  • Ankle/foot problems
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome, hand/wrist problems
  • Hip fracture
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation
  • Rehabilitation after a serious injury (eg, broken bones, head injury)
  • Stroke rehabilitation
  • Problems with balance
  • Womens health

How can a Therapist help?

Physical therapists often use a variety of treatments to help build strength, improve movement, and strengthen skills needed to complete daily activities.

Physical therapists might guide you through:

  • weightlifting to build strength around an injury
  • flexibility exercises to increase range of motion
  • balance and coordination activities
  • safety and prevention programs
  • instruction on how to avoid injuries
  • improving circulation around injuries by using heat, cold, exercise, electrical stimulation, massage, and ultrasound

During a visit, a physical therapist / chiropractic may:

  • measure the flexibility and strength
  • analyze the way you walk and run
  • identify potential and existing problems
  • perform musculoskeletal adjustments to make sure the body is properly aligned to be as efficient as possible.
  • provide instructions for home exercise programs
  • recommend when returning to sports is safe
